Doctor Of Chiropractic in Piscataway, NJ
Thomas Checchio, DC, MSACN
Dr. Thomas Checchio became a doctor of chiropractic in Piscataway, NJ, starting as a native of New Jersey growing up in the town of Flemington. After graduating from Hunterdon Central Regional High School, he attended Rutgers University graduating with a degree in Biology with a focus in Cell Biology and Neuroscience. While attending Rutgers University Dr. Checchio decided to follow in the footsteps of two other family members who also practiced as chiropractic physicians after seeing the benefits chiropractic could offer to both other patients as well as himself.
Dr. Checchio elected to attend New York Chiropractic College due to its strong foundation in an evidence-based approach of helping patients through chiropractic care. During his time in Chiropractic College, Dr. Checchio had the privilege to treat U.S. military veterans at the VA Hospital in Rochester, NY as well as patients with varying neuromuscular diseases at Monroe Community Hospital. While studying the rigorous coursework of the doctor of chiropractic program, he concurrently studied to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition.
Upon his completion of both degrees, Dr. Checchio returned to New Jersey wishing to serve the population of his home state, and he began working for Pappas Chiropractic Center in January 2014. As a family chiropractor, Dr. Checchio truly cares about his patients and wishes to do all that he can to both treat their musculoskeletal conditions and achieve overall health and wellness for them.
When Dr. Checchio is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, especially his fiancé, Jessica. He is also passionate about sports including football and baseball and is an avid New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan.
